Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south maintains a moderate to fresh easterly flow over the
region. The ridge will be pushed northward on Thursday and weaken from Friday
as a cold front moves over the south of the state.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies over southern parts of the state and will be pushed northwards as
a cold front moves over the southwest of the state on Thursday and Friday. A
second cold front will follow later Friday and into Saturday. A weak ridge will
push over the central west coast on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 15 July
Mostly sunny, remaining mostly clear tonight.

Forecast for Thursday 16 July
Showers southwest of Perth to Katanning to Bremer Bay during the morning,
extending to southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Esperance by late evening.
Chance of gusty thunderstorms developing west of a line from Geraldton to
Narrogin to Walpole, with heavy falls possible about parts of the Lower West
and South West districts. Windy morning over the southern Kimberley and North
Interior. Windy afternoon over the inland South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 17 July
Showers southwest of Carnarvon to Israelite Bay. Chance of gusty thunderstorms
west of a line from Denham to Corrigin to Albany, with moderate to heavy falls
possible about western parts from Geraldton to Lancelin. Patchy morning fog in
the west Pilbara and west Gascoyne. Windy about the west coast in the afternoon
and evening.

Forecast for Saturday 18 July
Showers southwest of a line from Coral Bay to the western Eucla district.
Chance of thunderstorms about the south coastal fringe between Margaret River
and Denmark. Patchy morning fog in the far west Pilbara and adjacent Gascoyne.
Windy over southern districts, easing later in the day.

Forecast for Sunday 19 July
Showers southwest of a line from Coral Bay to Eucla, easing over the South West
Land Division in the evening.
