Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge extends through most of northern WA while a trough lies from the
central Pilbara through to the Goldfields. The trough will broaden over the
northwest of the State during the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough sits over the Eucla and Interior, and will continue its path east
during the afternoon and evening. The northern end of a second cold front will
brush the southwest coast later on tonight. A high pressure ridge will build
through southern WA during the weekend, reaching the Bight on Sunday night as a
new trough begins to deepen down the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 24 April
Chance of a shower over the western Kimberley. Chance of showers and isolated
thunderstorms over the western and southern Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla.
Light showers possible southwest of Lancelin to Kojonup to Albany, clearing to
the south coast during the afternoon.

Forecast for Saturday 25 April
Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields,
southwest South Interior and Eucla. Light showers possible south of Busselton
to Albany and the Esperance coast, mainly morning. Morning fog possible over
the inland southwest South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 26 April
Possible showers developing over the far west Pilbara, western and southern
Gascoyne and northern South West Land Division. Chance of thunderstorms over
the northeast South West Land Division and adjacent Gascoyne. Morning fog
possible over the southern South West Land Division, far southern Goldfields
and Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 27 April
Showers over the western and southern Gascoyne, South West Land Division, west
and southern Goldfields and western Eucla. Chance of a light shower over the
far western Pilbara. Chance of thunderstorms over the northern and central
South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne and southwest Goldfields. Morning
fog possible over the southern South West and South Coastal districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 April
Showers over the western and southern Gascoyne, South West Land Division and
west and southern Goldfields. Chance of a shower over the far west Pilbara and
Eucla. Chance of thunderstorms over much of the South West Land Division,
southern Gascoyne and southwest Goldfields. Morning fog possible over the
southern South West Land Division.
