Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will linger over the central and east Pilbara this week. A ridge
developing over central Australia will direct easterly winds over the east
Kimberley from later Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the Interior will move east into South Australia tonight. A ridge
over southern WA will sink to the south coast on Thursday as a trough develops
over the inland Gascoyne and South West Land Division. The ridge will move into
southeastern parts as the trough extends over southwest WA during Friday, then
shift inland throughout Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 31 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms, possibly severe, over the South Interior and
far eastern Eucla. Chance of a shower over the far eastern Pilbara, far
southwest North Interior and Kimberley west coast. Light showers southwest of a
line Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay and along the south coast to Esperance,
contracting to the south coast in the evening. Cool over western Gascoyne, and
northern and central parts of the South West Land Division. Windy at times
along the south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 April
Showers and possible thunderstorms over far northeast Gascoyne, inland eastern
Pilbara, central Interior and far northern parts of the Goldfields. Chance of a
shower over the southwest Kimberley. Light showers and drizzle over the
southern Lower West, South West, and South Coast districts. Possible morning
fog over the inland South West Land Division and far western and northwestern
parts of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 2 April
Showers and possible gusty thunderstorms over the southeastern Pilbara, eastern
Gascoyne, Goldfields, western and southern parts of South Interior, far west
Eucla and eastern parts of the Central Wheat Belt district. Chance of a shower
over the northeast Kimberley. Light showers and drizzle about the southern
districts of the South West Land Division. Possible morning fog over southern
parts of the South West Land Division. Windy at times over the southern
districts in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Friday 3 April
Showers and possible gusty thunderstorms over the eastern and southern
Gascoyne, Goldfields, western and southern South Interior, Eucla and South West
Land Division. Chance of a shower over the far north Kimberley. Windy at times
in the morning across the southern and eastern parts.

Forecast for Saturday 4 April
Showers and possible gusty thunderstorms over the eastern and southern
Gascoyne, Goldfields, western and southern South Interior, Eucla and South West
Land Division. Windy at times over eastern parts.
