Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A strong high pressure system moving into the Bight will direct an east to
southeast wind surge northwards over the area, pushing the surface trough
towards the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system in the Bight will slowly move east, directing moderate
to fresh and gusty easterly winds across southern and central WA. A low
pressure trough developing near the west coast will persist for the remainder
of the week.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 12 September
Showers with the chance of a thunderstorm over the far southeastern Pilbara,
far northeastern Gascoyne, and western and central Interior. Chance of morning
fog over the South West, South Coastal and South East Coastal districts. Windy
at times over most parts of the state. Warmer temperatures about western parts.

Forecast for Friday 13 September
Light showers developing over the South Coastal district during the day. Chance
of morning fog over the South Coastal district. Windy at times over most parts
of the state. Warmer temperatures about western parts.

Forecast for Saturday 14 September
Showers over the south and South East Coastal districts and along the Eucla
coast. Windy at times over most parts of the state.

Forecast for Sunday 15 September
Showers over the south and South East Coastal districts, southern Goldfields,
and Eucla. Windy at times over most parts of the state.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
