Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over central parts of the State will slowly weaken and
start to move east during today, allowing the east to southeast winds to ease.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weakening cold front is moving across the south of the state today. A cloud
band will develop across the Central West during today and deepen across the
South West Land Division on the weekend, followed by a stronger cold front
approaching the west coast on Saturday night. The cold front will be followed
by a vigorous westerly flow on Sunday and early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 7 June
Showers southwest of a line from about Denham to Eucla, easing in the southwest
by the afternoon. Showers tending to rain and persisting throughout today about
the Central West district, with heavy falls possible. The chance of morning fog
over the western Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 8 June
Showers southwest of a line from Denham to Eucla, tending to rain about the
Central West and Central Wheat Belt districts. Heavy falls possible about the
Central West, northern Lower West, and western Central Wheat Belt districts.
Chance of a thunderstorm southwest of a line from Lancelin to Windy Harbour
later in the day.

Forecast for Sunday 9 June
Showers southwest of a line from Coral Bay to Eucla. Heavy falls possible about
the Central West, northeastern Lower West and Central Wheat Belt. Chance of a
gusty thunderstorm southwest of Bunbury to Albany. Windy across the western
districts of South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 10 June
Showers southwest of a line from Coral Bay to Eucla. Chance of a gusty
thunderstorm southwest of Bridgetown to Mount Barker. Windy across the western
districts of South West Land Division.
