Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge will persist over the north of the State for most of the week bringing
fresh and gusty east to southeast winds. A trough will begin moving over
western parts of the Pilbara on Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system will slowly move east across Bight waters during the
week. A trough off the west coast will move inland on Friday. A low pressure
system moves south of the State over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 1 May
Showers and thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, apart from the
eastern South East Coastal district. Chance of a shower over the far
southwestern Goldfields. Showers also possible over the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Thursday 2 May
Showers continuing over the South West Land Division and far southwestern
Goldfields. Chance of a thunderstorm near the west coast south of Jurien Bay.

Forecast for Friday 3 May
Showers south of a line from about Jurien Bay to Norseman to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 4 May
Showers over the far south of the South West Land Division.
