Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough remains over inland Pilbara and the Kimberley. A tropical low
should remain over the Northern Territory for most of the week ahead.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will persist south of the State whilst a low pressure
trough lingers near the west coast. The low pressure trough should move inland
from mid week.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 15 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, possibly heavy at times.
Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the inland Gascoyne, central and
eastern Pilbara, across most of the South West Land Division, Goldfields,
Interior and Eucla. Very hot over the southern Kimberley, Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, western and northern parts of the South West Land Division, northern
Goldfields, and western Interior.

Extreme in Burrup and Blackwood

Forecast for Tuesday 16 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, possibly heavy at times
over the northern and eastern Kimberley. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm
over the inland Gascoyne, central and eastern Pilbara, across most of the South
West Land Division, Goldfields and Interior. Very hot over the southern
Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, western and northern parts of the South
West Land Division, northern Goldfields and northern Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 17 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, possibly heavy at times
over the northeastern Kimberley. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the
inland Gascoyne, central and eastern Pilbara, across most of the South West
Land Division, Goldfields, and Interior. Possible light shower over the Eucla.
Very hot over the southern Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northern parts
of the South West Land Division, northern Goldfields, and northern Interior.

Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, possibly heavy at times
over the northeastern Kimberley. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the
inland Gascoyne, central and eastern Pilbara, eastern parts of the South West
Land Division, Goldfields, western Eucla, and Interior. Very hot over the
southern Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, and northern
Interior.
