Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends from the southeast Kimberley to the
northwest Gascoyne. During Saturday the trough will move closer to the
Kimberley coast as a ridge pushes south of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough near the west coast and a ridge south of the State will dominate the
weather pattern for several days.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 18 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the
northern and eastern Kimberley, and central and east Interior. Windy in the
morning through central parts. Very hot over the inland Kimberley and eastern
Pilbara, with temperatures increasing down the west coast.

Forecast for Sunday 19 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the
northern and central Kimberley, and northern parts of the Interior. Windy in
the morning through central parts of the state. Temperatures continuing to warm
down the west coast. Very hot over the western Kimberley and eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 20 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over most of
the Kimberley and the North Interior. Windy in the morning through central
parts of the state. Temperatures continuing to warm down the west coast. Very
hot over the western Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne and inland Central West.

Forecast for Tuesday 21 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the
Kimberley and North Interior. Very windy in the morning through central parts
of the state and through the Central and Lower West districts. Very hot over
the western Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne and northwestern parts of the South
West Land Division.
