Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough across the Kimberley and Pilbara is maintaining light winds.
However expect fresh and gusty winds to develop from Thursday as a high
pressure ridge pushes across the south of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving along the southern coast this morning. A high pressure
ridge will then build across southern WA during today, with a west coast trough
forming Thursday and Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 6 September
A period of light showers moving through the South West Land Division and
southwest Goldfields during the morning. Showers over south coastal parts and
along the Eucla coast, clearing west of Esperance during the afternoon. Chance
of morning fog over Central West, adjacent Gascoyne and northwest Central Wheat
Belt.

Forecast for Thursday 7 September
Sunny conditions. Chance of morning fog and frost over inland South West Land
Division, far southern Goldfields and far western Eucla. Windy over central and
northern parts.

Forecast for Friday 8 September
Mostly sunny conditions. Warmer over western parts. Windy over most parts.

Forecast for Saturday 9 September
Showers extending over the South West Land Division and southwestern
Goldfields. Possible isolated thunderstorms southwest of a line Perth to
Israelite Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
