Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough across the Kimberley and Pilbara is maintaining light winds. A
new high pressure ridge developing across the south later in the week will
direct an east to southeast change which will push the trough closer to the
coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will move over the South West Land Division later today and
Wednesday morning. A high pressure ridge will then build across southern WA
from Wednesday, with a west coast trough forming Thursday and Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 5 September
Showers southwest of Kalbarri to Salmon Gums to Israelite Bay. Light falls away
from the western south coast. Chance of morning fog over Central West, adjacent
Gascoyne and northwest Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Wednesday 6 September
A period of light showers moving through the South West Land Division, adjacent
southwest Gascoyne and southwest Goldfields during the morning. Showers over
south coastal parts and along the Eucla coast, clearing west of Esperance
during the afternoon. Chance of morning fog over Central West, adjacent
Gascoyne and northwest Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Thursday 7 September
Sunny conditions. Chance of morning fog and frost over inland South West Land
Division, far southern Goldfields and far western Eucla. Windy over central and
northern parts.

Forecast for Friday 8 September
Possible afternoon or evening shower over inland parts of the South West Land
Division. Warmer over western parts. Windy over most parts.
