Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A dominant high pressure ridge will persist over the State for the next few
days and continue to direct a dry, cooler east to southeasterly flow through
northern parts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system over southern parts extends a ridge over the state and
will dominate the weather pattern over the next few days. The ridge over
western WA will gradually weaken on Monday and Tuesday, allowing a weak trough
well offshore from the west coast to draw closer to the South West Capes during
Tuesday. A weakening cold front will brush the south coast Tuesday night and
Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 21 May
Possible light showers along the south coastal fringe east of Bremer Bay.
Morning frost and fog possible over southern and eastern parts of the South
West Land Division and adjacent southern Goldfields. Windy over northern and

the Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 22 May
Slight chance of a light shower southwest of a line Lancelin to Brookton to
Albany. Windy in the morning over northern parts.
