Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A heat trough over the inland Kimberley extends west over the Pilbara inland
from the coast. The trough will remain near
stationary over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will develop well south of the State during Sunday while
the high will move south of the Bight on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 12 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and Interior.
Light showers possible along the south coast east of Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Monday 13 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 14 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior, extending into the
northern Goldfields. Possible light showers over coastal parts
between Augusta and Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 15 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior, northern Goldfields,
southeast Pilbara and northern Central Wheat Belt.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
