Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A low pressure trough extends from the Kimberley to a low pressure system south
of Esperance. The low pressure system should deepen on Thursday before moving
east on Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough over the central parts of the State should deepen
on Thursday before moving east on Friday whilst a ridge of high pressure
develops south of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 17 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible from the inland Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, eastern parts of the Eucla, and south Interior. Showers and
thunderstorms also possible over the far western parts of the Kimberley.
Possible showers over the South West and South Coastal districts. Very hot
across much of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 18 November
Showers and thunderstorms likely increasing over the Goldfields and much of the
South West Land Division, especially southern and eastern parts of the region.
Chance of showers and storms in the eastern and northern Gascoyne, the Eucla
and South Interior. Remaining very hot through the Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 19 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Goldfields, over southern and eastern parts
of the South West Land Division, the Interior, and Eucla. Remaining very hot
through the Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 20 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern parts of the Eucla, and southwest of
the South Interior district. Remaining very hot through the Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
