Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the inland Kimberley extends through the North Interior and to
the Pilbara.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will build across southern WA on Saturday and dominate
the weather pattern into early next week. A surface trough will develop near
the west coast on Monday and deepen through the middle of the week as a high
pressure cell moves into the Bight.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 5 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, and
the northern and eastern Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 6 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and the North Interior.
Chance of a shower along the south coast.
Forecast for Monday 7 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and far
northern Gascoyne.
Forecast for Tuesday 8 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and over
the north and west inland Gascoyne.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
