Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies inland from the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts and extends
into western parts of the Interior. A ridge of high pressure will develop over
southern parts of the State on Sunday and the trough will deepen over the
Interior and northeast Gascoyne early next week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing near the south coast. A surface trough will form near the
west coast during Monday, and then deepen while moving east during Tuesday and
Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 13 September
Showers possible near the western south coast.
Forecast for Monday 14 September
Chance of an afternoon or evening thunderstorm over southern and eastern parts
of the South West Land Division and the southern Goldfields.
Forecast for Tuesday 15 September
Chance of showers or thunderstorms over eastern parts of the South West Land
Division, the Goldfields and the western Eucla. Possible afternoon showers over
the northern Kimberley.
Forecast for Wednesday 16 September
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and the Eucla.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
