Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A generally westerly flow persists over northern parts of the State. A surface trough lies through the Pilbara and Northern Interior, and will push towards the Pilbara coast early in the week.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep surface trough is moving through the Eucla tonight as a weak cold front moves across the south coast. A new ridge will build in its wake to the south of the state from Monday. Another trough develops off the west coast later on Monday and into Tuesday and will remain near the west coast during the week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 16 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeastern Gascoyne, southern and western Interior, northeastern Goldfields and the Eucla. Showers about the south coast.

Forecast for Monday 17 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern and eastern Gascoyne, Interior and the northern and eastern Goldfields. Showers and thunderstorms clearing from the Eucla during the afternoon. Morning showers over the South East Coastal district.

Forecast for Tuesday 18 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Interior, northern and western Gascoyne and northwestern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 19 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northwestern Interior, South West Land Division and adjacent the Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 20 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, North Interior, inland Gascoyne, northwestern parts of the South West Land Division and far northern Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
