Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extending from the Pilbara into the interior moves east during today
and Saturday as another broad area of low pressure forms in its wake.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front moves inland over the south. A ridge will build across the south
of the state from tomorrow, with a west coast trough developing on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 24 October
Showers south and west of a line from Shark Bay to Merredin to Israelite Bay,
most widespread across the South West and Lower West. The chance of a
thunderstorm about southern districts. Possible showers and storms over the
Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Interior, Eucla and northern and eastern Goldfields.
Thunderstorms may become severe with damaging winds and large hail in the
eastern parts of the South Interior and Eucla. Fresh and gusty winds across
much of the State except central and eastern parts of the Kimberley and North
Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 25 October
Showers south and west of a line from Kalbarri to Israelite Bay, most likely
through the south coastal districts, Lower West and South West. Chance of
showers and thunderstorms over central and eastern parts of the Kimberley and
Interior, and over the eastern Eucla in the morning. Fresh and gusty winds over
the southern Goldfields, South East Coastal District, Eucla and Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 26 October
Generally light showers southwest of a line from Geraldton to Esperance, most
likely near the coast between Busselton and Bremer Bay. Slight chance of a
thunderstorm in the Central Wheat Belt and adjacent southern Gascoyne and
Goldfields. Possible showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon, over
the the central and eastern Kimberley and eastern North Interior. Areas of
morning fog over inland southern and western parts of the South West Land
Division. Fresh and gusty winds over the inland Pilbara, Interior, Eucla,
eastern Goldfields and Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 27 October
Chance of showers, mainly in the morning, about the south coast between Walpole
and Bremer Bay. Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the north and east
Kimberley and southern South Interior. Fresh and gusty winds in the morning
over the Interior. Mostly sunny in the Central West, Lower West and Central
Wheat Belt. Possible early fog inland from the west coast to the south of
Jurien Bay, and over adjacent parts of the Great Southern and Central Wheat
Belt.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 October
Chance of showers and thunderstorms through the northeast Kimberley. Mostly
sunny over the remainder of the State with fresh and gusty winds extending over
much of the State, excluding the Kimberley. Warm through southern and
southwestern WA.
