Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough over inland northern parts will move east as a ridge develops
over central WA, and will bring a southeasterly wind surge from Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front has passed through WA, with a trough extending along the south
coast. A ridge will develop across central WA and dominates the state from
Tuesday. The next cold front approaches the southwest of the state on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 28 July
Showers over most parts of the South West Land Division, southern and central
Goldfields, southern Interior and Eucla, more frequent about the south and west
coasts. Chance of a gusty thunderstorm near the south coast of the South West
Land Division. Possible small hail over the South Coastal and South East
Coastal districts until early this evening. Very windy along south coastal
parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 July
Showers over much of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and
Eucla, more frequent about the south coast and mostly clearing inland parts by
evening. Chance of a thunderstorm about the south coastal fringe between Albany
and Esperance. Widespread morning frosts through the Gascoyne, northern
Goldfields, South Interior and southeast Pilbara. Cool to cold across the state
south of the Kimberley. Windy at times across the state south of the northern
Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 July
Light showers over the Eucla, southern South Interior, southern Goldfields, and
South East Coastal District. Areas of morning frosts through the inland South
West Land Division, Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, and central Interior. Cool
to cold across the state south of the Kimberley. Windy over northern and
eastern parts of the state.

Forecast for Thursday 31 July
Showers about the South West Capes, and central and eastern Eucla. Areas of
morning frosts through inland parts of the South West Land Division, southern
and eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, and South Interior. Possible morning fog over
the South East Coastal district, southern Goldfields and Eucla. Windy over
northern parts of the state.

Forecast for Friday 1 August
Showers about the South West Capes extending to southwest of a line Perth to
Walpole during the evening. Areas of morning frosts through inland parts of the
Eucla, southern South Interior and adjacent eastern Goldfields. Windy over
northern and western parts of the state.
