Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high over southeastern Australia will maintain light easterly winds across
northern WA for the remainder of this weekend. A broad trough lies near the
Pilbara coast with a cloud band forecast to develop over the western Pilbara
from Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure trough will move over the southeast of the State during Sunday.
A stronger low pressure system will approach the southwest corner on Monday
with an associated cold front forecast to cross the west coast on Monday
morning.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 31 May
Showers southwest of a line Port Hedland to Warburton with thunderstorms
possible over the Goldfields, South East Coastal, and Eucla districts.

Forecast for Sunday 1 June
Light showers southwest of a line Port Hedland to Warburton, more frequent
about the south and southwest coasts. Chance of morning fog through inland
parts of the South West Land Division, adjacent Gascoyne and Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 2 June
Showers extending from the west across much of the State to be southwest of a
line from Karratha to Forrest by the evening. Possible gusty thunderstorms over
the Central West, Lower West, and South West districts. Windy across western
districts. Chance of morning fog over the southeast of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 June
Showers southwest of a line Port Hedland to Eucla. Possible gusty thunderstorms
over the South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields. Windy across
southern and western districts.

Forecast for Wednesday 4 June
Showers southwest of a line Wallal to Giles. Possible gusty thunderstorms over
the South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields. Windy across southern and
western districts.
