Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south will maintain easterly winds across northern WA.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is contracting over southeastern WA as a trough moves inland. A weak
cold front will brush the southwest corner on Saturday morning. A new ridge
will extend along the south coast on Sunday with another west coast trough
returning by Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 9 May
Areas of smoke haze possible in the southwest. Cloud increasing over the far
southwest of the State with a possible evening shower.
Forecast for Saturday 10 May
Showers south of a line from Bunbury to Katanning to Israelite Bay with
possible morning fog southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay. Warm conditions over
northern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Windy in the
morning over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 11 May
Light showers along the south coast. Possible morning fog and isolated light
showers over the South Coast, Southeast Coast and Great Southern districts.
Windy in the morning over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior.
Forecast for Monday 12 May
Light showers along the south coast west of Bremer Bay. Possible morning fog
over inland southern parts of the South West Land Division and the Eucla
district. Windy in the morning over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior.
Forecast for Tuesday 13 May
Light showers over southern coastal districts. Possible morning fog over inland
southern parts of the South West Land Division, the southern Goldfields and the
Eucla district. Windy in the morning over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North
Interior.
