Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the eastern Pilbara and into the North Interior. A ridge
building to the south will bring fresh southwesterly winds to the western
Pilbara at times.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will move over far southwestern parts Wednesday morning with
a new high pressure ridge developing in the wake of the front later Wednesday
and Thursday. A surface trough deepens inland from the west coast on Friday,
moving east over central parts and out of the state on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 6 November
Showers near the south coast, with the chance of showers over remaining parts
south of a line Lancelin to Katanning to Salmon Gums and north along the west
coast to Kalbarri, clearing in the afternoon. Possible showers and
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior and northeastern parts of the
South Interior. Chance of fog over parts of Eucla during the morning. Remaining
very hot over the inland parts of the north of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 7 November
Slight chance of a shower about the western south coast west of Albany. Showers
and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeast parts of the Interior.
Possible morning frosts over inland southern parts of the South West Land
Division. Remaining very hot over the inland parts of the north of the State.

Forecast for Friday 8 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior and far east Pilbara.
Possible showers over the southeast Gascoyne, South West Land Division,
Goldfields and Eucla. Possible thunderstorms over the eastern Central Wheat
Belt, northeast Great Southern and southwest Goldfields. Remaining very hot
over the inland parts of the north of the State.

Forecast for Saturday 9 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior and east Eucla. Possible
showers over the South East Coastal District, southeast Goldfields and
remaining Eucla. Very hot for inland parts of the Kimberley and east Pilbara.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
