Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough of low pressure lies over the north and west Kimberley and
western Pilbara, moving east. A surge of southeasterly winds arrive over the
Pilbara on Sunday as a ridge develops to the south.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving eastwards over the Bight and a deep trough is
moving inland from the west coast. A cold front that will sweep through the
South West Land Division on Friday. A new ridge of high pressure will develop
over southern WA in the wake of the front on the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 27 September
Showers across much of Western Australia, more likely over southern parts.
Chance of thunderstorms over eastern parts of the South West Land Division,
southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, Interior and across northern and eastern
parts of the Kimberley. Windy over central and eastern parts of the state.

Forecast for Saturday 28 September
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division,
Goldfields, Eucla and Interior. Showers contracting out of the Goldfields and
Eucla during the day. Chance of thunderstorms over the north and east
Kimberley, eastern Interior and far northeast Eucla. Windy through the southern
Interior and Eucla. Chance of a light morning frost over the northwest Great
Southern and far southwest Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Sunday 29 September
Light showers southwest of a line from Perth to Bremer Bay and along the south
coast. Showers and the chance of thunderstorms over the north and east
Kimberley and northeast Interior. Chance of a light morning frost over the
inland central and eastern South West Land Division and adjacent southwest
Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 30 September
Showers and thunderstorms over the western Kimberley, Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne and Interior. Light showers southwest of a line from Bunbury to Bremer
Bay. Chance of morning fog over the Great Southern district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
