Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will persist over inland Kimberley and Pilbara during the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is located near the west coast. This trough is expected to move inland
on Monday bringing a westerly change. A new high pressure ridge will push south
of the State from mid-week.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 25 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Chance of thunderstorms with
little or no rainfall over the eastern Pilbara, Interior, far eastern Gascoyne,
western Goldfields, and most parts of the South Wet Land Division. Very hot
over the Kimberley, central and east Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, and
southern and inland parts of the South West Land Division. Windy across central
and southwest districts in the morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 26 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Chance of thunderstorms with
little or no rainfall over the eastern Pilbara, Interior, far eastern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla, and South East Coastal districts. Possible light showers or
drizzle along the south coast. Very hot over the Kimberley, east Pilbara,
Interior, Goldfields, and far eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 27 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Chance of thunderstorms with
little or no rainfall over the eastern Pilbara, Interior, far eastern Gascoyne,
eastern Goldfields, and Eucla. Possible light showers or drizzle south of about
Busselton to Esperance. Very hot over the Kimberley, east Pilbara, Interior,
Goldfields and far eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 28 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Chance of thunderstorms with
little or no rainfall over the far northeastern Pilbara, Interior, far eastern
Goldfields, and far eastern Eucla. Possible light showers or drizzle over
southern coastal districts. Very hot over the Kimberley, east Pilbara,
Interior, and Goldfields.
