Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will remain over inland northern parts of the State through to
the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is developing from the inland Gascoyne and into the western South West
Land Division. The trough will move eastwards during Wednesday evening being
pushed by a cold front which will brush the far southwest coast on Thursday
morning. A new ridge will develop rapidly over western and southern parts of
the State later Thursday into Friday and persist over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 9 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over the Kimberley and
northeast North Interior. Showers southwest of Mandurah to Katanning to Bremer
Bay in the morning and then near the remaining coast of the Lower West and
southern Central West district in the afternoon. Light falls. Milder in the
southwest corner but tending warmer through the eastern South West Land
Division and Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 10 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the north
and east Kimberley, and northeastern North Interior. Possible light showers,
about the southern South West and South Coastal District. Tending cooler
through the southern Goldfields and South East Coastal District.

Forecast for Saturday 11 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the north
and east Kimberley and eastern North Interior. Showers and thunderstorms
possible over the South Interior, northern and central Goldfields, Gascoyne,
northern Central West and northeast Central Wheat Belt. Windy over central
parts of the State and near the lower west coast.

Forecast for Sunday 12 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the north
and east Kimberley and eastern North Interior. Showers and thunderstorms
possible over the South Interior, Goldfields, Eucla, southern Gascoyne, Central
West and northern Central Wheat Belt. Windy over central parts of the State and
near the lower west coast.
