Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system moving south of the state is extending a ridge over the
state and bringing hot, fresh and gusty easterly winds to northern parts. Winds
will start easing from mid next week as the high moves east and the ridge
weakens.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure ridge lies over southern parts with a surface trough
developing near the west coast. A high pressure centre will move into Bight
waters on today and Monday with the trough deepening down the west coast. The
trough will move inland on Tuesday. A weak cold front will brush the south west
corner of the state on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 15 October
Mostly sunny. Very hot across the Kimberley, Pilbara, western Gascoyne and
north and western parts of the South West Land Division. Windy morning across
northern and central parts.

Forecast for Monday 16 October
Mostly sunny. Very hot across the Kimberley, Pilbara, western Gascoyne and
northern and western parts of the South West Land Division. Windy morning
across northern and central parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 17 October
Mostly sunny. Very hot across the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, inland parts of
the South West Land Division and Goldfields. Windy morning across northern and
central parts.

Forecast for Wednesday 18 October
Mostly sunny. Cooler over southern and southwestern parts. Very hot across the
Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, northern and central South West Land Division and
Goldfields and Eucla.
