Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Kimberley to the Pilbara. The western edge of the
trough is moving east as a ridge develops over the western Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is moving east across the South West Land Division, moving to the
Goldfields and Eucla during today, before moving into the Interior on Sunday. A
weak cold front will brush past the southwest coast tonight, followed by a fast
moving high pressure system across the south coast on Sunday. A trough will
re-develop near the west coast on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 23 September
Morning drizzle over parts of the South West Land Division. Light showers over
the South West, South Coastal, South East Coastal, southern Goldfields and
western Eucla. Chance of a thunderstorm over the southern parts of the
Goldfields, adjacent South East Coastal and western Eucla. Windy at times
during the day through eastern parts. Very hot across the western Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 24 September
Light showers over the southern parts of the South West Land Division, eastern
Goldfields, Interior and Eucla. Chance of a thunderstorm through the South
Interior. Windy through the Eucla. Very hot across the western Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 25 September
Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the South Interior, northern Goldfields
and adjacent Gascoyne. A light shower is also possible over the far east of the
Eucla district. Very hot across the western Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 26 September
Chance of a shower over South Interior, southeast Goldfields and Eucla. Windy
through the central parts. Very hot across the western Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
