Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high moving to the south of the State will continue to produce fresh and
gusty winds over most of the northern half on Friday. A trough will lie over
the western Pilbara over the weekend.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system will move into the Bight on Friday and a trough will lie
off the west coast. The trough moves inland on Saturday ahead of a weak cold
front that crosses the west coast later in the day. A weak ridge will lie over
the South West Land Division on Sunday and into early next week.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 8 September
Mostly sunny conditions. Warmer over western parts. Windy over most parts.
Chance of morning frost over the far southern Goldfields, South East Coastal
district, Eucla, and far southern Interior.
Forecast for Saturday 9 September
Light showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Esperance. Chance of a
thunderstorm southwest of a line Perth to Esperance.
Forecast for Sunday 10 September
Light showers possible southwest of Mandurah to Albany. Chance of dry
thunderstorms over the eastern Goldfields and the adjacent Eucla and South

Possible light showers about the Southwest Capes.
