Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough across the Kimberley and Pilbara is maintaining light winds this
evening. However expect fresh and gusty winds to develop today as a high
pressure ridge pushes across the south of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will build across southern WA in the wake of a cold
front, with a west coast trough forming today and Friday. The next cold front
is expected to move over the southwest of the State on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 7 September
Sunny conditions. Chance of morning frost over inland South West Land Division,
southwestern Goldfields and far western Eucla. Windy over central and northern
parts.

Forecast for Friday 8 September
Mostly sunny conditions. Warmer over western parts. Windy over most parts.
Chance of morning frost over southern Goldfields, South Coastal, Eucla, and far
southern Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 9 September
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Esperance. Chance of a thunderstorm
southwest of a line Perth to Esperance.

Forecast for Sunday 10 September
Light showers southwest of Perth to Albany. Light showers also possible along
the Esperance coast and Eucla district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
