Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge over southern parts of the State will continue to direct
cool and dry southeasterly winds over northern parts for the remainder of the
week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm ridge of high pressure across the southern parts of the State is slowly
moving east. A weak trough will move in the vicinity of the west coast on
Friday, before moving inland on Sunday ahead of a moderate cold front. The cold
front will sweep through the South West Land Division on Monday, moving to the
eastern parts of the State later in the day.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 21 April
Chance of a light shower about the far north coast of the Kimberley. Windy
across central and northern parts.
Forecast for Saturday 22 April
Chance of a light shower about the far north coast of the Kimberley. Windy
across northern and central parts. Warmer in the south.
Forecast for Sunday 23 April
Showers developing near the Southwest Capes in the afternoon and extending to
Bunbury to Mount Barker in the evening. Windy across the North Interior and
Kimberley. Warm in the south.
Forecast for Monday 24 April
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla.
Chance of thunderstorms with small hail about the southwest coast. Windy about
the south and southwest coasts, southern Goldfields and Eucla. Much cooler
across the South West Land Division.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
