Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough remains slow moving over central Kimberley, while another trough is
located over western Pilbara A cloud band across the southern Kimberley and
Interior will persist until the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and western Eucla is slowly moving
east and will become confined to central parts of the Interior over the
weekend. A weak cold front will move across the far southwest on Friday,
followed by another weak front on Saturday. A firm ridge of high pressure will
then extend across the southern parts of the State for the remainder of the
weekend. A west coast trough will develop from Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 25 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, east Pilbara,
Goldfields, far eastern Gascoyne and Eucla. Showers over western and southern
districts of the South West Land Division with the chance of thunderstorms over
the southern districts. Heavy falls and damaging winds possible with
thunderstorms over the Eucla, far eastern Goldfields and Interior. Cooler over
southern Kimberley and North Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 26 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, far eastern Eucla and
northeast Pilbara. Light showers over the southern coastal districts. Heavy
falls and damaging winds possible with thunderstorms over South Interior.
Chance of morning fog over southeast South West Land Division and adjacent
Goldfields.

Forecast for Sunday 27 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far northeast Pilbara and
Interior. Possible light showers near the south coast.

Forecast for Monday 28 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far northeast Pilbara and North
Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
