Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the central Kimberley and another trough over the western
Pilbara. A cloud band across the Kimberley and Interior will persist until
later in the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies from the eastern Gascoyne to the eastern South West Land
Division, before moving to the northeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and western Eucla
on Thursday. It will then move east into the Interior and eastern Eucla on
Friday and be confined to northern and central parts of the Interior over the
weekend. Meanwhile a weak cold front will approach later Thursday before moving
over far southwest parts of the South West Land Division on Friday. A ridge
develops over southern parts of the State over the weekend, however another
weak cold front may brush the far southwest corner on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 23 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northwestern Interior, far
eastern Pilbara, far east Gascoyne, Goldfields, and eastern and southern parts
of the South West Land Division. Heavy falls possible in thunderstorms over the
inland Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 24 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, far northeast Pilbara,
east Gascoyne, Goldfields and western Eucla. Moderate to heavy falls possible
in thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Showers possible over southwestern parts
of the South West Land Division. Hot across the Goldfields, South Interior and
Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 25 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, east Pilbara, eastern
Goldfields and Eucla. Showers over western and southern districts of the South
West Land Division with the chance of thunderstorms east of Albany. Heavy falls
possible with thunderstorms over the Eucla, far eastern Goldfields and southern
South Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 26 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior and far northeast
Pilbara. Light showers over far southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 27 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and North Interior. Possible light
showers near the south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
