Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from the Kimberley into the east Pilbara and will move
northwards as a new ridge develops to the south on Monday and brings a return
of fresh and gusty southeasterly winds to the Pilbara, North Interior and
southwest Kimberley.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge of high pressure is developing over southern parts of the State in
the wake of a weak cold front that continues to move east along the south
coast. The high pressure ridge will move south of the State in the middle of
the week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 August
Showers over southern districts and along the west coast of the South West Land
Division, and coastal Eucla. Light falls expected. Possible morning fog and
frost over parts of the Great Southern, Central Wheat Belt and southwest
Goldfields. Patchy fog over the northeastern Pilbara and adjacent Kimberly this
morning.

Forecast for Monday 29 August
Possible light showers south of Bunbury to Mount Barker and east along the
south coast. Possible morning fogs and frosts over inland parts of the
Southwest Land Division, southern Goldfields, southern Interior and inland
Eucla. Windy over most of the north of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 August
Possible light showers south of Bunbury to Mount Barker to Bremer Bay. Possible
morning fogs and frosts over inland parts of the Southwest Land Division,
southern Goldfields, southern Interior and inland Eucla. Windy over most of the
north of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 31 August
Possible light showers south of Busselton to Israelite Bay. Possible morning
fogs and frosts over southern and eastern parts of the Southwest Land Division,
and southern Goldfields. Windy over central parts of the State.
