Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over the central parts of the State will slowly move
east during the next few days. A cloud band is expected to develop over the far
western Pilbara on Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over central and southern parts of the State will
slowly move east during the next couple of days. A moderate cold front is
expected to cross the South West Land Division and southwest Gascoyne on
Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 12 August
Light showers near the south coast. Morning fogs over southern parts of the
South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and western parts of Eucla
district. Morning frosts over the far east South West Land Division, Goldfields
and South Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 13 August
Showers over the South West Land Division extending into the western parts of
the Gascoyne, western Pilbara, and western Goldfields. Chance of a gusty
thunderstorm near the west coast about and south of Shark Bay. Windy about the
Southwest Capes. Morning fogs over inland Eucla district and far eastern pars
of the South East Coastal district. Morning frosts possible over the eastern
Goldfields, southern parts of the South Interior, and inland parts of the Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 14 August
Light showers over the South West Land Division, western parts of the Gascoyne,
far western Pilbara, and southwest Goldfields. Morning fogs over the inland
parts of the South West Land Division. Morning frosts possible over eastern
parts of the South Interior.

Forecast for Monday 15 August
Showers developing southwest of a line from Exmouth to Laverton to Israelite
Bay. Showers possibly becoming heavy at times over western districts later in
the day and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
