Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from the Kimberley to the Pilbara.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving east across the southern parts of the state and is
dragging the west coast trough further inland. A new ridge of high pressure
will extend east along the south coast behind the cold front from today and
will flush out the tropical humidity and bring cooler temperatures.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 4 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Gascoyne, southern Pilbara, Goldfields,
Eucla District, western parts of the Interior and eastern parts of the South
West Land Division. Showers over remaining parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the far northern
Kimberley.
Forecast for Tuesday 5 April
Possible showers over southeastern parts of the South West Land Division,
eastern parts of Southeast Coastal, southern Goldfields and western parts of
Eucla District. Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the far northern
Kimberley, northern Gascoyne, southeast Pilbara, far northern Goldfields and
Southern Interior.
Forecast for Wednesday 6 April
Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the far northern Kimberley,
northern Gascoyne and Pilbara. Possible light showers about the south coast and
adjacent inland.
Forecast for Thursday 7 April
Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the northern Kimberley, northern
Gascoyne and Pilbara. Possible light showers about the southwest coast.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
