Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Pilbara and into the North Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends from the Gascoyne through the Interior and will remain in the
north as a ridge rapidly develops along the south coast. The ridge will remain
south of the state over the next few days with a trough developing near the
west coast later in the week.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 22 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, south and west Interior. Possible morning thunderstorms over the
south and east Goldfields and Eucla. Showers over southern parts of the South
West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 23 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northern
Gascoyne. Showers about the south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 24 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northern
Gascoyne. Light showers about the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 25 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northwest
Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
