Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Interior to the southern Kimberley and into the
Pilbara.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies over the western Gascoyne and a new ridge of high pressure
develops south of the state. The trough will deepen down the west coast from
Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 13 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, western parts
of the Interior, Goldfields, northeast Eucla, Central West and northern parts
of the Central Wheat Belt. Isolated heavy falls possible over the southern
Pilbara and the Gascoyne. Thunderstorms will be gusty through the Kimberley.
Forecast for Monday 14 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, adjacent Interior, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, Central West, Central Wheat Belt and northern
and central parts of the Lower West district.
Forecast for Tuesday 15 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara, western
Gascoyne and Central West district.
Forecast for Wednesday 16 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, north Gascoyne
and far north Goldfields.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
