Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system lies over southeastern Australia, with a weak trough
developing near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts. A new high pressure ridge
will develop south of the State on Thursday, with fresh and gusty east to
southeasterly winds developing over northern parts from Friday morning.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will move over southwestern parts of the Southwest Land Division
today and then weaken. A ridge will strengthen along the south coast in the
wake of the cold front during Thursday and Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 12 May
Showers extending to southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Northam to Israelite
Bay. Mainly light falls inland.

Forecast for Thursday 13 May
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Friday 14 May
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts, mostly during the morning. Fresh
and gusty easterly winds over northern parts in the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 15 May
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts in the morning. Fresh and gusty
easterly winds over northern parts in the morning.
