Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the far western Pilbara. Generally an easterly flow with a
ridge of high pressure over the south of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies inland of the west coast and will move east today as a weak cold
front brushes the south coast. A new ridge then develops south of the State
during Tuesday and Wednesday with a weak trough redeveloping near the west
coast.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 19 April
Showers near the south coast and adjacent inland parts. The chance of
thunderstorms over the inland Gascoyne and adjacent northern Goldfields.

Forecast for Tuesday 20 April
A chance of showers or thunderstorms over the northeast Gascoyne, and central
Pilbara. A chance of showers along the south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 21 April
A chance of showers along the south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 22 April
Chance of morning showers near the south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
