Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the inland Pilbara and Gascoyne and will persist for
the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies near the south coast with a high pressure system located in
the Bight. A broad surface trough extends from the Gascoyne to central parts of
the South West Land Division and will extend further into the western
Goldfields during the middle of next week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley, central
Interior, Pilbara, and the northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, western Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, southwest Goldfields and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley and the northwest
Pilbara. A chance of a shower or thunderstorm over inland parts of the South
Coastal district and the adjacent Great Southern.

Forecast for Wednesday 31 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley. Showers developing
southwest of a line from Mandurah to Hopetoun.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
