Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the Kimberley to inland parts of WA.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the eastern Gascoyne to the SA border and continues
to move northeast. A ridge of high pressure is developing near the south coast.
During Thursday the trough will temporarily extend across the South West Land
Division as a weak front brushes the southwest of the State. A new trough will
develop near the west coast during Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 24 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, South Interior, Goldfields, and
the Eucla. Morning showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 25 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, South Interior, Goldfields,
eastern Central Wheat Belt and the Eucla. Showers developing about the western
south coast during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Friday 26 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Interior and the eastern
Eucla. Showers about the south coast.

Forecast for Saturday 27 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior and the northeastern
Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
