Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the inland Pilbara and will
remain near stationary over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep surface trough is moving through the South Interior, with a high
pressure ridge develop along the south coast. The ridge will strengthen to the
south of the State during the week, with a broad trough forming over the inland
Gascoyne.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 11 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, far western
Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, southeast Goldfields and Eucla. Light showers near
the south coast east of Bremer Bay in the morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 12 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla, and northern and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 13 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla, South Interior and northeast Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Thursday 14 January
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla, and inland parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
