Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A large high pressure system will move south of the State on Friday and
gradually drift eastwards over the weekend. The high will extend a ridge across
much of southern WA over the coming days leading to a freshening east to
southeasterly airstream over northern parts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A large high pressure system, currently off the SW Capes will move south of the
State on Friday and gradually drift eastwards over the weekend to reach the
Bight on Sunday. A weak cold front will brush the southwest corner of the State
later on Sunday followed by another more significant cold front reaching the
west coast early Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 10 July
Showers about the south coast east of Esperance and the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Saturday 11 July
Morning frost over central inland parts of the South West Land Division,
Goldfields and South Interior. Showers near the Eucla coast, and near coastal
parts east of Esperance.

Forecast for Sunday 12 July
Morning frost over central inland parts of the South West Land Division,
Goldfields and South Interior. Showers and possible thunderstorms developing
over the South West district. Showers extending to areas southwest of a line
Perth to Albany during the evening.

Forecast for Monday 13 July
Showers southwest of a line Mandurah to Albany, extending to include western
parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent coastal Gascoyne during the
afternoon and evening. Possible thunderstorms over the South West district.
