Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will lie over southern parts of the State through to
Sunday. Fresh to strong easterly winds across the North of the State during the
mornings easing Monday and Tuesday as the ridge weakens across central parts of
the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high in the Bight extends a ridge over southern WA. The high will retreat
towards southeastern Australia on Monday ahead of a cold front which is
expected to reach the west coast in the evening. The front will rapidly weaken
over the SW Land Division early Tuesday with a westerly airstream in its wake
over the southwest of the State. Another ridge will then develop over southern
parts of the state on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 21 June
Morning showers possible about the Eucla coast. Areas of morning frost possible
about the far eastern parts of the SW Land Division, Goldfields, inland Eucla
and South Interior.

Forecast for Monday 22 June
Showers developing about the SW Capes during the morning and then extending to
west of a line Shark Bay to Bremer Bay in the late evening. Thunderstorms
possible near the SW Capes during the afternoon and extending to coastal parts
in the evening. Areas of morning frost possible about the Goldfields and South
Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 23 June
Showers southwest of a line Carnarvon to Israelite Bay contracting to the SW
Land Division during the morning. Possible thunderstorms along the western
south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 June
Showers over western and southern parts of the SW Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
