Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure across southern parts of the State will bring a
moderate easterly flow to the northern half for the next few days. The ridge
will weaken from Wednesday as a cold front moves across southern parts of the
State during Wednesday and Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across southern parts of the State. A high
pressure system will develop over eastern Australia on Tuesday ahead of a
strong cold front that will move across southern and central parts of the State
during Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 15 June
Showers over near coastal parts between Jurien Bay and Albany. Light showers
extending inland to western parts of the Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern
for a period during the day. Morning fog over inland parts of the South West
Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 16 June
Showers southwest of Mandurah to Walpole.

Forecast for Wednesday 17 June
Showers developing over western coastal parts south of Jurien Bay during the
morning and then extending to southwest of a line Carnarvon to Esperance by
midnight. Gusty thunderstorms extending through the South West Land Division
during the day.

Forecast for Thursday 18 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, contracting to near coastal south of
Jurien Bay during the day. Thunderstorms and small hail possible in the south,
easing during the day. Showers through remaining parts of the State southwest
of a line from Exmouth to Eucla, gradually clearing from northern parts during
the day.
