Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough extends through the west Kimberley and Pilbara with a ridge of high pressure through the Interior. The trough will deepen and gradually shift east through the Pilbara to the Interior by Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough lies through central parts of the State with a ridge of high pressure building south of the State and a high moves into the Bight on Saturday and Sunday. The surface trough deepens through central parts of the State during Friday and Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 26 September
Showers about southern coastal districts and southern parts of the Great Southern.

Forecast for Friday 27 September
Showers with the chance of thunderstorms over the Goldfields, Eucla and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers near the remaining south coast, most likely during the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 28 September
Showers with the chance of thunderstorms over the Eucla and the adjacent South Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 29 September
Showers with the chance of thunderstorms over the eastern Interior.

Forecast for Monday 30 September
Showers with the chance of a thunderstorm over the South Coastal district, the eastern Great Southern and the South East Coastal district. Showers possible over southern parts of the South West district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
