Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the Pilbara and will remain fairly stationary for the next few days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the Pilbara through eastern parts of the South West Land Division. The trough will slowly move east through the Goldfields and Eucla during Thursday. A weak cold front will move along the south coast during Friday with a new ridge of high pressure developing in its wake on Saturday. A high pressure system will move into the Bight and a surface trough will form near the west coast during Sunday.

Shower and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, far northern Interior, far southern Goldfields, western Eucla, and the far eastern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Thursday 28 February
Shower and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern and western Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla, eastern Central Wheat Belt and eastern parts of the Southeast Coastal districts. Drizzle or showers near the south coast. Very hot over central and southeastern parts of the State.

Shower and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, eastern Great Southern and eastern parts of the Southeast Coastal districts. Showers developing about remaining southern coastal parts and the coastal Lower West. Very hot over northwest and southeastern parts of the State.
Forecast for Saturday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northeastern Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields, and Eucla. Possible light showers near the western south coast.
Forecast for Sunday 3 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior and northern Gascoyne. Possible showers in the Eucla.
