Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends through the North Interior and the inland Pilbara.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge is developing to the south of the State. A broad surface trough will develop just inland from the west coast on Tuesday and drift slowly east on Wednesday. A new trough will then start to develop near the west coast late Thursday and on Friday.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and adjacent North Interior.
Forecast for Tuesday 12 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne and northern Goldfields, extending through the western Goldfields and eastern South West Land Division during the evening. Showers developing near the western south coast in the afternoon.
Forecast for Wednesday 13 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and the Eucla. Morning showers and thunderstorms over southeastern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Thursday 14 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, northern and eastern Goldfields and the Eucla. Showers near the south coast and adjacent inland parts.
Forecast for Friday 15 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, northern and eastern Goldfields and the Eucla. Showers near the eastern south coast.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
