Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the North Interior to the inland Pilbara and Gascoyne.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough deepening near the west coast will move slowly inland during tonight and Wednesday, and lie over central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division from Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 19 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, east Gascoyne, Interior, northwest Goldfields and northeast Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Wednesday 20 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, far east Gascoyne, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla and central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over northern parts of the State, and northern Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 21 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Interior, northeastern Goldfields and Eucla. Light morning shower about the southwest coast. Very hot over northern parts of the State, Goldfields and South East Coastal.

Forecast for Friday 22 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, Interior, eastern Goldfields and western Eucla. Light showers about the south coast of the South West Land Division. Very hot over northern and eastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Saturday 23 February
Shower and thunderstorms over the western Kimberley, inland Pilbara, western Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, and eastern South West Land Division. Showers over the southwest Capes. Very hot over northern and eastern parts of the State.
