Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the west Gascoyne into the Pilbara and Kimberley. The southern part of the trough will move north through the inland Gascoyne and Interior during Monday and Tuesday. A new trough will develop through the inland Gascoyne on Wednesday and contract eastwards on Thursday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the State. A surface trough lies near the west coast and will move east during tonight and Monday as a weak cold front brushes the south coast on Monday . A new ridge will develop over southern WA in the wake of the front on Tuesday before a another trough develops down the west coast on Wednesday, before moving eastwards on Thursday.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, western Pilbara, Gascoyne, inland central pats of the South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields.
Forecast for Monday 11 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern Gascoyne, southeast Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent Southeast Coastal district. Light showers possible near the south coast and adjacent inland parts. Very hot over northern parts of the State.
Forecast for Tuesday 12 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior. Light showers possible near the south coast. Very hot over northern parts of the State.
Forecast for Wednesday 13 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne and Southwest Land Division away for the south coastal districts. Very hot over northern parts of the State.
Forecast for Thursday 14 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, east inland Pilbara, east Gascoyne, eastern South West Land Division and Goldfields. Very hot over northern parts of the State.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
