Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough across the inland Pilbara southern Kimberley which is likely to move just offshore in the far western Kimberley and eastern Pilbara Saturday morning. It should then remain inland on Sunday and early next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies in the Bight and is moving slowly east. A trough lies just inland from the west coast, should move offshore for a period on Saturday and then move east on Sunday. Another trough develops near the west coast on Monday and then moves inland from the west coast later in the day.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 21 December
Showers and thunderstorms in the north and east Kimberley, inland western Pilbara, western Gascoyne and Central West.

Forecast for Saturday 22 December
Chance of mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far northern Interior, inland western Pilbara, Gascoyne and Central West District. Very hot in the southwest Kimberley, northeastern Pilbara and parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 23 December
Chance of mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, northeastern Pilbara, southwest Gascoyne, Central West District, far northern Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern, South Coastal and western South East coastal. Very hot in the southern Kimberley, inland Pilbara and parts of the inland South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 24 December
Thunderstorms possible in the northwest Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne, northwest Goldfields and northeastern South West Land Division. Chance of a shower near the western south coast. Very hot in the inland Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland western Gascoyne and inland northern South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 25 December
Thunderstorms possible in the northwest Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, inland northern and central South West Land Division. Chance of a shower near the western south coast. Very hot through most inland parts.
